- Details of Disappearance:
- On April 24, 2004, Alex was moving belongings to his new home in Northport, Maine. Later that afternoon, his former teacher saw him running frantically from the woods, acting strangely and saying “bad guys” were after him. He ran off before police arrived.
The next day, his van was found nearby, but Alex was gone. Several searches found nothing.
Months later, about 45 minutes away, two people reported seeing a man who looked like Alex acting very strangely and unable to communicate. These sightings aren’t definite, but they’re considered possible.
Alex’s family is worried because he’d never disappeared like this before. Although he knew how to survive outdoors, they fear something bad happened to him. The case remains a mystery.
