- Details of Disappearance:
- On April 6th, 2016, at 10 pm, Mills left his house in Sitka, Alaska to go for a walk. It was a rainy night with strong winds. He was never seen again. Mills took his lime green and white kayak with him. Two days later, the kayak was found upside down on Kasiana Island, but Mills wasn’t there. Despite a big search, he was never found. He and his wife had recently moved from California. It’s believed he died while kayaking.
