Details of Disappearance:
In October 1969, a woman named Duncan disappeared in San Francisco. She was last seen at a social services appointment about putting her six-week-old baby in foster care. She never showed up for her next appointment and vanished completely.

Duncan had other children in foster care, and she regularly visited them. Those visits stopped suddenly, as did her calls to her mother. Her baby was eventually adopted because he was considered abandoned.

Her family says she loved her children, even though she couldn’t care for them. They believe she was in danger and may have been murdered, rather than running away. The police still haven’t solved the mystery of what happened to her.
