- Details of Disappearance:
- On February 27, 1998, three men—Bolden, Fred King, and Dairo Restrepo—were sailing from Florida to Bimini in the Bahamas on a small boat. Their boat flipped over near Haulover Beach and floated towards Cape Canaveral. Bolden tried to swim to shore for help, but disappeared. King and Restrepo were found two days later, alive but clinging to their boat, far out at sea. After a big search, Bolden was never found; it’s believed he drowned.
