- Details of Disappearance:
- Barrett disappeared from Pocatello, Idaho on November 9, 2008. He vanished without a trace, leaving behind his beloved dogs – something he’d never do. His van also disappeared, but it mysteriously showed up back at his house the next day. Police don’t know who returned it.
A friend, Randall Toone, was arrested in Las Vegas months later for using Barrett’s debit card. Toone claimed he had permission, but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and got probation. While Toone was the last person to see Barrett, police haven’t solved the mystery of Barrett’s disappearance, even though Toone’s actions are suspicious. Barrett had no history of mental health problems or disappearing unexpectedly. The case remains unsolved.
