Details of Disappearance:
Jonathan disappeared from Bogue Chitto, Mississippi in June 2018. He’d had a fight with his wife, Cindy, on May 31st, and she said he hurt her. When police tried to talk to him on June 2nd, he was gone. His truck was found abandoned two weeks later. His bank account hasn’t been used since.

At first, police in Lincoln County wouldn’t even take a missing person report because Cindy had accused him of assault, and they thought he was hiding. His sister eventually filed a report in September. Four months later, the charges against Jonathan were dropped because there wasn’t enough evidence. Cindy then filed for divorce, saying he’d been unfaithful and cruel. The divorce went through even though Jonathan was missing, and Cindy got custody of their children.

Jonathan and Cindy had a difficult marriage and separated several times. He was a contractor and traveled for work. They separated again in April 2018, after Cindy said she wanted a divorce. Even after separating, Jonathan still saw his kids regularly and helped support them. He even went on a trip with his daughter just a month before he vanished. His family believes he wouldn’t have just left his children.

The case is still a mystery, and the Lincoln County police are investigating.
