- Details of Disappearance:
- On Valentine’s Day 2006, Casida disappeared from her Reno, Nevada home. She was driving her white Mazda pickup truck (license plate 920 NRH). Nobody has heard from her since.
A month later, her truck was found abandoned near Winnemucca, Nevada, at a highway exit. Interestingly, another person’s truck was found at the *same* exit years later, in 2012. Police don’t think the two cases are related.
Casida left a note saying she was unhappy with her life and marriage. She had family in Oregon. Her bank accounts haven’t been used since she vanished. The mystery of what happened to her remains unsolved.
