Details of Disappearance:
On September 14, 1990, 10-year-old Kacey ran away from her father’s house in Portland, Oregon, after an argument. Her father wanted her to live with him and his wife, but her mother had custody. Kacey was last seen near a grocery store a few blocks away, carrying a purse with a pink blouse inside. The purse and blouse were later found abandoned. Possible sightings of her hitchhiking were reported but never confirmed.

A man named Brian Keith George, who knew Kacey’s family, confessed to her murder in 1991 while in jail for bank robbery. He said he buried her body in Washington, but a search found nothing. He later took back his confession, but remains a suspect. George has a criminal record, including a manslaughter conviction. He claimed Kacey’s father was responsible, but there’s no evidence to support this. George is still in prison but has never been charged with Kacey’s disappearance. Kacey’s case is unsolved, but police suspect foul play.
