- Details of Disappearance:
- Karen and her friend Rodney disappeared in Oregon in 1977. They were last seen in Cornelius on May 26th, but Rodney was already missing since May 24th. They planned to hitchhike to California. After leaving, they briefly called a friend from a phone booth, then Karen said they had a ride and hung up. They were never seen again.
Later that year, some of their clothes and belongings were found near a logging road. Karen’s jeans were cut. Police think something bad happened to them.
