- Details of Disappearance:
- Anterio disappeared in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on August 19, 1999. He was supposed to have dinner with his boyfriend, Tony Gillette. Anterio was never seen or heard from again.
Gillette had scratches on his face the day after Anterio vanished. He agreed to talk to the police about Anterio two days later, but the next morning he called his family saying he was going to kill himself. That day, he was found shot in the head in his car and later died. Police said it was suicide.
Because of the scratches on Gillette and the timing of his death, police suspect Gillette may have killed Anterio. The case is still a mystery.
