Details of Disappearance:: In June 1996, Katrina had a serious mental health episode and was hospitalized in Olympia, Washington. Doctors thought she might have bipolar disorder. That same evening, she slipped away while briefly left alone and disappeared. Sadly, her remains were discovered in an Olympia park in March 2005. Police are still investigating how she died and if anyone was responsible.
