- Details of Disappearance:
- Lee disappeared in October 2002. He was last seen in Seabeck, Washington, after going to meet some people. His car was found abandoned in a Silverdale Safeway parking lot.
Lee was a self-employed septic tank installer who loved the outdoors. He had a past: a year-long prison sentence ( unusually long for the crime) in 2001 for drug dealing. Police found drugs, drug-making equipment, and a lot of cash in his car and home.
Police think his disappearance might be connected to his drug activities. A month later, a man was attacked and said he believed it was because the attacker thought he’d talked to the police about Lee’s case.
Even though Lee is still missing, and no one has been charged with his disappearance, police suspect he was murdered, and a death certificate has been issued. The case remains unsolved.
