Ornaith called her niece from the boat on the 16th, saying she was in a Berkeley marina, but she was never seen again.

The couple, who had made money in real estate, were involved in a lawsuit after a fire in one of their buildings injured a child. They were described as intelligent and witty. The Coast Guard searched, but found nothing. No credit card or bank activity has been detected since their disappearance.
