- Two sisters, Kimberly and Kelly Yates, were taken by their mom from their Rhode Island home in 1985. Their mom didn’t have the right to take them. Thirty-two years later, in 2017, the sisters were found safe and healthy in Texas. Their mom was arrested. Now grown women with their own families, Kimberly and Kelly have been put in touch with their father, who wants to reconnect with them. Their mother, who was using a different name, pleaded not guilty and was allowed to go back to Texas while waiting for her court case.
