- Details of Disappearance:
- Mack disappeared in Tampa, Florida. She was last seen leaving her home around 9 pm. Two days later, her car was found abandoned miles away, locked, with her purse and ID missing. Mack had four young children and her family said she would never leave them.
Soon after, police got an anonymous tip suggesting she’d been hurt. Then, in 2007, her boyfriend, David Eugene Lee, was arrested. He admitted to killing her after an argument about $40,000 she allegedly stole. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter and got a 10-year prison sentence (to be served alongside an existing drug sentence).
Mack’s body was never found, but because of Lee’s confession and the circumstances, police believe she was murdered.
