- Details of Disappearance:
- On October 6, 2014, a woman named Richardson was last seen at her Casper, Wyoming home at 7:45 PM. She didn’t show up for work the next morning as planned, and no one has heard from her since.
Police found her house locked the following day. Her ID was on the counter, her phone was on her bed, and her purse—containing a lot of money—was there too. However, her garage door opener (usually in her purse) was missing, and her bedsheets had stains that looked like blood or urine. Her cars were still at home.
Richardson owned a trucking company she started with her husband (who passed away in 2013). The last person to see her was one of her employees.
Police have a person of interest: a former employee who had romantic feelings for Richardson, even pursuing her after her husband’s death and again shortly before she vanished. She wasn’t interested in him. He hasn’t been publicly named.
While the circumstances are suspicious, the case is still officially treated as a missing person investigation, not a crime. Since then, her children took over her business and sold her house. The case remains unsolved.
