Details of Disappearance:
On December 2nd, 2005, James Stackhouse left his home in Syracuse, New York, around 6:00-6:30 pm to go to a basketball game. He didn’t come home, and his parents reported him missing the next morning.

He might have been driving a green 2003 Hyundai. A friend gave conflicting accounts of what happened that night, first saying he dropped Stackhouse off near home, then claiming Stackhouse got into a fight at the game.

There are rumors he was killed and his body hidden on Native American land, but police haven’t found any proof. While there’s no evidence he’s dead, his disappearance is considered suspicious.

Stackhouse had minor legal issues (two minor warrants), but police don’t think that’s why he disappeared. Some people said he used drugs, but his family denies it. He had a clean record except for traffic tickets. He worked at a nursing home and was described as a good young man who wanted to get his GED and take care of his young daughter.

The case remains a mystery.
