- On September 28, 1992, Wells had dinner with his mom and stepdad in Houston, Texas. He left to get some money someone owed him and said he’d be right back. A week later, his black Dodge Colt car was found abandoned downtown Houston on Smith Street. Wells wasn’t there, and nobody has seen or heard from him since. Police think something bad happened to him.
