Details of Disappearance:
Little Arthur disappeared in February 1977. His mom, Ann, first said he wandered off at a mall. But later, she admitted her boyfriend, Dr. Stuart Kutler, killed him.

Arthur and Ann were living with Stuart. Stuart abused Arthur, and on February 4th, he beat Arthur so badly the child died. Stuart and Ann tried to revive him, but failed. They didn’t call the police, fearing it would hurt Stuart’s career.

They tried to burn Arthur’s body, then hid the remains. Someone saw bags of children’s clothes burning in an incinerator around that time, and Stuart’s father was seen near it.

Ann got immunity from charges in exchange for testifying against Stuart. He was originally charged with murder but pleaded guilty to manslaughter. He said he was stressed and drinking, but knew his actions could kill Arthur. He died in prison a year later.

Arthur’s body was never found, but the evidence strongly suggests he was murdered.
