- Teakell disappeared in Irving, Texas on November 1, 2003. A friend dropped him off at a store to buy cigarettes, and he was never seen again. He sometimes lived on the streets and in shelters around Dallas, often in the Vineyard Street, Singleton, and West Moreland/Highway 30 areas. He also went to bars in Dallas. His family didn’t report him missing right away because he’d disappear for weeks at a time. Police think something bad might have happened to him, and there have been rumors about where his body might be buried, but nothing’s been proven. He had five children. The case is still a mystery.
