Details of Disappearance:
On June 7, 1984, 7-year-old Louis disappeared in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He left home to play with friends nearby and was seen by several people that afternoon. He stopped at a hot dog stand, saying he was running from some older boys (who were later questioned and cleared). A witness also reported seeing him talking to a man and woman in a park.

Later that evening, Louis didn’t come home. His mom was in the hospital, and his aunt was watching him. Because Louis often stayed out late, his family didn’t report him missing until late that night.

Police searched, but found nothing. Louis liked playing near water and had talked about going to an amusement park before he vanished, but there were no clues found at either place. His parents passed lie detector tests and were cleared of suspicion, despite rumors of abuse (which were investigated and found to be false).

Six months before his disappearance, Louis told several adults that he had been molested by a couple, but he couldn’t give enough details for police to investigate. Whether this is related to his disappearance is unknown.

A man claiming to be a private investigator was later investigated in connection to Louis’s case but was ruled out.

Eleven months after Louis went missing, his family moved into a house he often visited and loved. They eventually lost the house and moved.

Louis was a friendly but shy child with learning difficulties. His case remains unsolved, and his parents believe he may still be alive but have no memory of who he is. Police believe he was abducted by someone he didn’t know.
