Details of Disappearance:
Marguerite disappeared from Alabaster, Tennessee, sometime around the end of 1989. Her son, John, moved in with her three weeks before she vanished. No one reported her missing until February 1991 because John claimed she’d gone to Florida with a mysterious “Cousin Jane” in a light gray van, occasionally returning home for short visits. This “Cousin Jane” was never found, and the “Seminole Amish Indian Reservation” John mentioned doesn’t exist. Police searched John and Marguerite’s property but found nothing. John is now in a nursing home and too sick to help solve the mystery. Marguerite’s daughter thinks she might have gone to relatives in Haleburg, Alabama. Basically, no one knows what happened to Marguerite, and her disappearance remains a mystery.
