- In August 1980, a mom named Pahl vanished from Vinton, Texas. She’d had a fight with her husband and said she was taking a bus to New Mexico for groceries. She never returned. She had six kids, including a baby, and her oldest daughter had to rush home from Georgia to care for them.
The family had recently moved from Florida to El Paso. Pahl didn’t drive. The police didn’t investigate properly at first, just filing a missing person report. It wasn’t until 2000 that they seriously looked into what happened, including searching the family’s old house. Nothing was found. Her oldest daughter didn’t think her dad was involved. Pahl was a loving mother, so her disappearance is a mystery, as there are very few clues.
