- Maria, from Frederick, Maryland, was last seen on July 7, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. She left home after arguing with her mom and didn’t come back. Police think she ran away and might still be in the Frederick area, maybe staying with a friend. She ran away once before, in January 2017, but was found safely two weeks later. This time, though, it’s been years, and no one has heard from her. That’s unusual for a teenager who ran away, so she’s now considered to be in danger.
