- On September 16, 1993, Xochitl Maldonado disappeared in downtown Fairbanks, Alaska. She was last seen early in the morning. Her van, a camel-colored 1974 Ford, was found abandoned near a bar in Fairbanks a short time later, but there was no sign of her. Police haven’t been able to solve her disappearance.
