Details of Disappearance:
In April 1988, Ashok Narain disappeared from Eugene, Oregon. Around the same time, his wife Raj and their baby daughter Kamnee were murdered.

Raj’s body parts were found in different rivers in Washington and Oregon in September 1987. Kamnee’s body was found a few weeks later. Because no one reported them missing, the bodies remained unidentified for nearly 20 years.

It wasn’t until 2006 that Ashok’s brother reported the family missing. DNA tests finally confirmed the identities of Raj and Kamnee in 2007. Raj was two months pregnant when she died.

Police believe Ashok may have been involved in the deaths, but they haven’t charged him with anything. He’s also considered a missing person.

Investigators are looking for Ashok’s car—a white 1980 Toyota Tercel with Oregon license plate KUV762—believing it might hold clues. The case is still unsolved.
