- Details of Disappearance:
- Zedalis disappeared from her Cocoa, Florida apartment on April 7, 1994. She left behind things like her glasses and medicine, her cat, and her car (with new kitty litter). Only her purse was gone. Her family thinks she wouldn’t have left with someone she didn’t know, as she had trouble walking and didn’t go for walks often. Police looked into her son, but he said he was innocent and close to his mother.
Around the same time, another older person, Leanda Burgess, also vanished in Cocoa and was never found. While police investigated both disappearances, they don’t think they’re connected. Both cases are unsolved, and police believe both women died soon after they disappeared.
