- A woman named Patterson vanished from Detroit in May 2017. Her body was found a year later, in April 2018, but it took months to confirm her identity through DNA testing. The police haven’t solved her murder. Interestingly, her grandmother also disappeared from Detroit in 2009 and was never found, but police don’t think the two disappearances are connected.
