- Details of Disappearance:
- A college student named Alghannam, from Saudi Arabia, vanished in New Orleans on March 28, 2015. He was visiting his uncle and staying at a hotel in Metairie. Oddly, he paid his hotel share in cash, unlike usual.
After his uncle dropped him off near Bourbon Street around 9:30 pm, they texted the next morning. Alghannam was supposed to take a bus back to San Antonio, Texas, where he lived with his sister and studied engineering, but he never arrived.
He was having some trouble in school, and his student visa was later cancelled, but his family says disappearing like this was completely out of character for him. He liked photography. The San Antonio police are looking into what happened.
