- In 1995, three kids—Nathan, Andrew, and Sydney—were taken away from their home in Greenfield, Indiana, by their mom, who didn’t have legal custody. Years later, in 2014, Nathan went to a U.S. embassy in Mexico and proved who he was. He was able to go back to the U.S. and see his dad again. His siblings, Andrew and Sydney, also returned home later that year, Andrew in August and Sydney in December.
