- Details of Disappearance:
- On December 3, 2007, a retired dockworker named Hiatt disappeared from his backyard in Winlock, Washington. There was a big flood that day, with lots of rain causing a lot of problems. Police think he fell into Waller’s Creek during the flood. Searchers found a man’s coat that Hiatt’s son and daughter-in-law identified as his, but his wife didn’t recognize it. Despite a large search, his body was never found. He’s still listed as a missing person.
