Details of Disappearance:: Magney disappeared from Gainesville, Florida. He left his motel room alone and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Police think he might have hurt himself because he’d looked up how to tie a hangman’s knot and searched for secluded woods near Gainesville online. He also bought rope. Despite thorough searches, they haven’t found him. Magney is from New York (he went to SUNY Buffalo), and also has connections to Miami and Chicago. The case is still a mystery.
