- Details of Disappearance:
- On July 25, 2012, Gibson disappeared. He was last seen at the Palms of Brook Valley apartments in Gainesville, Florida, at 9:30 PM. He didn’t live there; his home was elsewhere in Gainesville. Two days later, his car, a dark blue 2003 Honda Accord, was found abandoned at the same apartment complex.
The last person to see Gibson was Maurice Terry. Terry was arrested in September 2012 for drug charges. He told police he and Gibson planned to buy cocaine together at the apartment complex that night. Gibson was supposed to buy the drugs and give them to Terry, who was waiting nearby. Terry said Gibson never showed up.
Gibson was not known to disappear without telling anyone, so his disappearance is a mystery. The police haven’t solved the case.
