- Pamela and Eric Bealer vanished. They went to their remote Alaskan cabin in September 2018 and didn’t return as planned. Friends found their cabin empty with a note saying they’d committed suicide and hidden their bodies. They’d left behind instructions for their belongings – their art to a gallery, other things to a conservation group. Friends weren’t shocked, as the couple had previously discussed this possibility due to Pamela’s serious illness (multiple sclerosis). A search didn’t find them, and they were officially declared dead in June 2019.
