Details of Disappearance:
Peggy disappeared from a motel in Superior, Montana on July 4th, 1979. She and her husband, Earl, were on a road trip and stopped there for the night. Earl said Peggy was gone when he woke up at 11 pm. Her purse, cards, and luggage were also missing. She’s never been seen or heard from since.

Earl waited nine days to report her missing, saying he tried to find her first. They had been fighting, so police initially thought Peggy might have left on her own. But her credit cards were never used, making foul play a strong possibility. The mystery of what happened to Peggy remains unsolved.
