Distinguishing Characteristics:
Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian female. Blonde hair, blue eyes. Marzo may use the last name Kraemer. She wears eyeglasses with oval-shaped silver wire frames. She has a dog bite scar on her left wrist and scarring on both ears from a tubal operation. Marzo’s nose has been previously fractured. She has a tattoo on her back, possibly of a broken heart with a red rose through it. Her ears are double-pierced. Marzo’s tonsils have been removed.
Details of Disappearance:
Marzo disappeared from Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 15, 2003. She was last seen after leaving a bar called Conversations. Her boyfriend, Carl Rodgers, argued with her on the phone that night and wanted her to come home, but she didn’t. A friend dropped her off at her apartment, where she was seen going inside.

Marzo’s family didn’t report her missing until June 2004 because she’d stopped contacting them after family tragedies. Her mother said Rodgers, Marzo’s boyfriend, was abusive; he had a history of violence and had severely beaten her before. Marzo had even pressed charges against him for domestic violence but later dropped them and got back together with him. Coworkers also noticed she was often bruised and unhappy.

Three days before Marzo vanished, the domestic violence charges against Rodgers were dropped because Marzo didn’t show up in court. Rodgers himself died by suicide in 2007, while awaiting trial for sexually assaulting someone else. He never cooperated with the police investigating Marzo’s disappearance, leading her family to suspect his involvement.

Marzo left behind an uncashed paycheck and there’s been no activity on her accounts since her disappearance. While there’s a possibility she went to Florida, her mother believes she is dead. The police suspect foul play, but the case remains unsolved.
