- On October 16, 2000, a musician named Bos went to Duggan’s Pub in Lincoln, Nebraska. She seemed happy that night. Her ex-husband was there, and they talked before he left. Bos left the pub around 1:00 a.m. on October 17th, saying she was going to pick up her boyfriend and then go home to her three children. She had her guitar and music with her, but it’s not clear if she had her purse.
Bos never showed up at her boyfriend’s. He woke up, waited, and eventually called her several times. Her pager was at home, and the ringing woke her children. They realized she wasn’t coming home and contacted their father and grandparents. The boyfriend called the police around 6:38 a.m. Her car was found parked across the street from the pub—her guitar and music were in the trunk, but her purse was missing.
