Details of Disappearance:
Ricarda disappeared on February 19, 2007. She was last seen at 10:00 a.m. at her job in Memphis, Tennessee, leaving with her estranged husband, Lou Lockett (a photo of Lou is available). She was supposed to pick up her baby son from a babysitter but never showed up. Ricarda vanished without a trace, leaving behind her wallet and phone.

Police are worried about her safety, but there’s no proof she was kidnapped. A month earlier, in January 2007, Ricarda had reported that Lou choked her. He was arrested for assault, and Ricarda moved to a domestic violence shelter. Lou claims he dropped her off at the shelter after work that day in February, but the shelter says she never arrived. He denies any involvement in her disappearance.

Ricarda’s family got custody of her son. They, along with official documents, suspect Lou. Ricarda’s boss described her as a reliable employee who always called in sick or late; disappearing without a word was completely out of character. Her family believes she wouldn’t have left her baby.

Ricarda was originally from the Winnebago Indian Reservation and grew up in Sioux City, South Dakota, before settling in Memphis. Her disappearance remains a mystery.
