- Putman disappeared near his family’s farm on Tower Road in Neosho, Missouri on August 3, 2000. He often went for walks nearby, usually within a quarter-mile of the farm in either direction. The last time anyone saw him, he was walking a short distance east of the farm. Despite a big search, he was never found, and there’s not much information about what happened to him.
