- Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian male. Gray hair, green eyes. Junod wears eyeglasses for reading, but they were left behind. He has an appendectomy scar on his abdomen, and one of his thumbnails is raised in the center due to a childhood injury.
- Details of Disappearance:
- Junod was last seen at his home in Oak Forest, Illinois on the evening of April 30, 2018. His father saw him at 7:30 PM. The next morning, his truck was gone, and his dad thought he’d gone to work. But Junod never showed up for work and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
His purple 1994 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck (license plate 78763S) was later found abandoned at the Thornton Quarry in South Holland, Illinois. The keys were still in the truck, which also had a black file cabinet in the bed. (A picture of the truck is available.)
Strangely, Junod left behind his medication, both his cell phones, his work truck keys, and a lot of cash. There’s been no activity on his bank accounts since he disappeared. The police haven’t solved the mystery of what happened to him.
