- On September 30, 1997, a man named Picard disappeared from his trailer in Bunnell, Florida. His landlord hadn’t seen him and he was behind on rent and some work. When she and her family checked on him, they found his trailer messy, with lots of blood and marijuana plants inside. His bike was outside, and the back door was unlocked.
A week earlier, Picard’s trailer had been robbed, and the landlord’s grandson and three others were later convicted for it. The landlord’s son admitted to hiding some of the stolen things to protect his son.
Police think Picard was murdered in his trailer and his body was thrown away, maybe in a nearby lake. Even though he grew marijuana, people say he was a quiet, harmless guy. The case is still a mystery.
