- On July 5, 1975, Robyn disappeared in Whitefish, Montana. She was walking to a friend’s house, just two doors from her own, to watch a softball game. She vanished without a trace.
Police don’t think she ran away because she left her purse and shoes at home, and there were no problems at home. Her diary, which she kept regularly, offered no clues. Her boyfriend was questioned and cleared.
Another teenage girl, Nancy Kirkpatrick, disappeared from a nearby town about ten months later. Investigators think the two cases might be connected, but they haven’t been able to prove it.
Robyn’s parents have passed away, but her siblings are still looking for her. There’s been no activity on her Social Security number since 1975, and her disappearance remains a mystery.
