Details of Disappearance:
Roland disappeared near Knight Lane and Campbell Road in Wapato, Washington, on May 25, 1984. He’s never been found and police think he was kidnapped.

This is strange because his mother, Celestine, also disappeared. She was found dead in 1982 at the bottom of a gully near McCullough Road. While her death was ruled accidental (from hypothermia), the FBI reopened the case in 2009 along with other unsolved deaths of women in the area around the Yakama Indian Reservation during the 1980s and 90s. Most of these other women were murdered.

After his mother’s death, Roland went to live with his great-aunt. He’s been declared legally dead, but the mystery of what happened to him remains unsolved.
