- On June 18, 2004, Copes disappeared. He drove away from his Philadelphia home in his white 1994 Lincoln car, planning to see his mother, but he never got there. There’s evidence he was in a car accident in Dumfries, Virginia, sometime after that, but nobody knows what happened to him after the accident. Not much is known about what happened to him.
