Details of Disappearance:
On April 6, 2004, a woman named Baremore disappeared. She was last seen leaving a strip club in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, around the early morning hours. She took a cab home.

Baremore didn’t own a car; her family usually drove her around. Her sister noticed she was missing on April 8th when she went to pick her up from the club. The police were notified on April 10th.

Baremore lived with her boyfriend, Cedrick Lemon. They had been fighting, and she said she was leaving him. After she disappeared, all her things were still in their apartment, even her work bag. Lemon claimed they argued, she left to get a newspaper and find a new place, and he thought she’d just left for a while, like she had before. He had a criminal record and was arrested for breaking his probation after Baremore vanished. He died of a drug overdose in 2018.

Baremore had a past drug conviction but was on inactive probation at the time of her disappearance. She had a daughter who was raised by a relative. Her mother believes she’s dead because it’s out of character for her to not contact her family. The case is still a mystery.
