- Details of Disappearance:
- On New Year’s Eve 1983, Todd went to several parties in Manhattan with friends and his brother. He got drunk and left one party around 1-2 am to go for a jog to sober up. He was last seen near Mulberry and Houston Streets. He had left his wallet and jacket at the party, so he had no ID or money.
Todd vanished. His family reported him missing, and hundreds of people searched for him, but he was never found. Police think he might have been attacked and injured, possibly suffering amnesia. A man matching his description was seen at a homeless shelter and washing car windows a few days later.
Todd was a bright guy: he went to an international school in Switzerland, graduated from Vassar College, and was a student at Yale Divinity School, working towards becoming a Presbyterian minister. However, he was facing some challenges: he was failing some classes, struggling financially, and had recently broken up with his girlfriend. Despite these problems, his family says he seemed happy and wouldn’t have disappeared on purpose. His disappearance remains a mystery.
