- Details of Disappearance:
- On January 4, 2015, a man named Waters disappeared after going to buy beer with his friend, Jeffrey Moulder, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Moulder said Waters got out of the car near a Walmart and walked away, but Waters was never seen again.
Police think Waters was murdered, and they believe Moulder is responsible. The two men had a history of arguments because they both had children with the same woman. Moulder even told his girlfriend he choked Waters, suffocated him with a plastic bag, burned his body, and buried the remains.
Although Moulder hasn’t been charged with murder, he was arrested in 2019 for lying to the police about Waters’s disappearance. His trial is pending.
Waters’s fiancée was pregnant when he vanished. His family says he was happy and excited to become a father. The case is still unsolved, but police strongly suspect foul play.
