Details of Disappearance:
Sollie disappeared on May 24, 1994, from a shopping plaza in Macedon, New York. Nobody heard from her again until her landlord reported her missing on June 5th because she hadn’t paid rent.

Her apartment was locked, her car was home, and her belongings (including all her clothes and her dog’s food) were still there. Her dog, Jessie, was also missing. Later, Jessie’s collar and Sollie’s purse were found in a dumpster.

Someone used Sollie’s credit cards after she vanished, buying over $1000 worth of stuff. Police found the people who used the cards, but they claimed they got them from a boy who found a wallet. The police don’t think these people were involved in her disappearance.

Sollie was on disability leave from her job and was pregnant. She told friends she was meeting her ex-husband, who denied involvement and refused a lie detector test.

While police think Sollie may have left with someone she knew, her family suspects foul play because she would never just disappear without contact. The case remains unsolved.
