Distinguishing Characteristics:
Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian female. Brown hair, blue eyes. Sandra’s maiden name is Alderman; some agencies refer to her Sandra Alderman Gann. Her nickname is Sandy. She has a small homemade tattoo of a butterfly below her chest, and a small homemade tattoo of a cross between her right thumb and forefinger.
Details of Disappearance:
Sandra disappeared near Starke, Florida. She was last seen at 5:00 a.m. at her home. Her husband, Dwayne, said she got a ride to work, but her daughter says that’s unusual because Sandra usually drove herself. Sandra’s belongings were left in her truck. Two days later, her daughter reported her missing. The same day Sandra vanished, their mobile home burned down—a suspicious fire.

Police are suspicious because a thorough search found no trace of Sandra, and she never would have left without telling anyone. Dwayne and his sister, Deborah, are considered suspects because they were the last to see her. Police searched Deborah’s house (next door) but haven’t said what they found.

Dwayne and Sandra had a violent argument in 2003; he was charged with hurting her, but the charges were dropped, and they later married. Dwayne, who has a criminal record, says he’s innocent and suggests Sandra’s drug use might explain her disappearance. He’s currently in jail for unrelated charges.

Sandra’s disappearance is unsolved, and police believe foul play was involved. She worked in construction. Pictures of Dwayne and Deborah are available.
