- Details of Disappearance:
- On October 15, 2014, Tiffany Wiggins spoke to her sister from Atlantic City, New Jersey. That was the last time anyone heard from her. She left her car at home and disappeared, leaving behind her six-year-old son. There were no signs of a struggle at her house.
Wiggins was dating Kevin Shelton. They’d been together about six months, and she wanted to marry him. However, Shelton was secretly married with two children. It’s unknown if Wiggins knew this.
Three days later, Shelton was found dead by suicide in his estranged wife’s home.
The day before his death (October 17th), Shelton drove his Porsche around southern New Jersey, going to several towns including Hamilton Township, Bridgeton, Hopewell Township, Elk Township, and back to Atlantic City. Later, he drove a Ford Escape to Vineland before returning to where he killed himself.
Police found blood from both Shelton and Wiggins in the Porsche. Shelton left a suicide note, but it didn’t mention Wiggins. He only spoke of his love for his wife and children.
Because of the blood and Shelton’s strange driving route before his suicide, police believe Shelton likely killed Wiggins and disposed of her body somewhere along those routes. He was very familiar with the area.
Wiggins was a vibrant woman who dreamed of being a police officer or an actress. Her case remains a mystery.
